A message was sent to all members on 17th March 2020. The Saint Georges Singers committee agreed that, in line with UK government advice, all the choir’s activities should cease until further notice . Rehearsals, the next choir social and the May concert have been cancelled.

“…In the course of correspondence over the last few days, many sentiments have been expressed by members about the situation we find ourselves in; the committee notes the common themes of solidarity, compassion, some sadness, but also hope for the future. Current events seem to highlight the value of our activities associated with the choir.
